Azuki Airdrop Hacked! Fake Azuki NFT Airdrop Posted on Hacked Indian Government’s Twitter Account
After hacking multiple verified Twitter accounts over the past several days, an unidentified hacker attempted to dupe people with a bogus NFT airdrop. The hacker used well-known brands in the non-fungible token sector, such as Azuki and Bored Apes Yacht Club (BAYC), to entice naive collectors.
The first attack was allegedly directed at Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who oversees Uttar Pradesh, India’s fourth-largest state by land area. The hacker acquired access to Adityanath’s verified profile Saturday (April 9, 2022), according to a post from the state administration, and released certain tweets.
